17-layer Shower Filter Active Health Shower Head

I live in an area where the tap water is not drinkable, and didn't love the idea of washing my body and hair with such hard & chlorinated water. I've used a few different filters in the past, since I rent and can't invest in something more permanent, and this one if probably the best I've tried so far. My hair has less buildup and doesn't dry out as much, which means I don't have to use all kinds of products to counteract whatever is in my water. Overall, this product isn't perfect but considering it is affordable I'd continue buying.

This product performed exceptionaly well from the day it was installed. Directions for installation were easy to follow and installation was complete within 5 minutes. We are more than happy with how much better our water quality has become since we purchased this filter. Our hair is not only softer but actually feels cleaner than prior to having the filter. Our skin has also benefited from having the filter. We live in Florida and water here is full of chlorine and minerals which has made our skin dry. Now with the Aqua Home Group Filter, we have greatly reduced the things that have previously dried out our skin.

I got my filter for hard water. So far I'm pleased with the change in my hair and skin. My hair was getting lots of iron build up and looking darker and my skin and hair had hard water scale built up. So far my skin is absorbing body products much easier. I'll definitely keep buying these filters.

Where we live, our water smells very "earthy" coming out of the faucet. The stench has the essence of rotting moss, so, not great. Not wanting to shower in that, I went on the hunt for a good shower filter at a reasonable price. I installed one of these filters in each of our two showers. The packaging it came in was really high quality, as was the unit itself, and the three extra replacement filters. The kit also came with extra rubber gaskets and threading tape, so I didn't need to buy anything extra for installation. Installing the filter units was super easy! The included instructions are very easy to follow. The filter immediately took every ounce of funky smell out of the shower water. My only gripe is that the filter in the master bathroom only lasted about 2 weeks before the smell started creeping back in. That shower does get used a lot more than the 2nd bathroom. The 2nd bathroom filter seems to be holding up with taking the smell out. Thankfully there are replacement filters in the box, so replacing the filter early in the master bath isn't a big deal. I was just surprised at how quickly the smell came back with that one. We'll see how filter #2 holds up in that shower. All-in-all I am very happy with this purchase. It's very stylish, fits nicely with the style of our shower heads, and gets the job done.
