Electric Vegetable Slicer and Chopper

We have only used it 2 times and it has worked pretty great for those times if we have any problems with it in the future. All update the review. But I don't think that we will. Because it feels really well made endurable.

For the purposes of full disclosure, my parents bought us a name brand mixer YEARS AGO. I'd say at least 20 years ago. It's a beast and it's showing signs of age. It's heavy to lug out of the cupboard. It has an incredible number of attachments; gotta sort through all of those. And the plastic is starting to disintegrate. It's a heavy old dinosaur.

The EBEAKA 2 in 1 Electric Meat Grinder and Cheese Grater comes with several blades and attachments. The cheese grater part comes with a shredding blade, and two different size/kind of grinding blades, and slicing blades which also is used for vegetables. The meat grinder comes with 3 different size grinding plates, a sausage tube and a kabbe attachment. (I have no idea what a kabbe is. I never made or ate one so I don't think I will be needing this attachment but it is great for those that do make and eat it.) It also comes with directions that are pretty clear.
I actually had no faith in this meat grinder when I took it out of the box. It is so lightweight I figured it wouldn't do a good job and fall apart before I even got half of the roast done. This machine doesn't even have speeds, just an on and off switch.
I used it to make sausage snack sticks. I bought a roast and cut it in strips narrow enough to fit in down the feeding tube and this machine just sucked them strips down and grated them like they were paper in a paper shredder. There was no fighting with it, it didn't bog down, and it got the job done. I was shocked!
Because I make sausage snack sticks and not the 'normal' size sausage, the casings I use are too small to fit on the tube however, I could see this would have no problems filling the proper size casings by the way it worked.
One of the shredding blades is for thin little 'sticks'. I used it for peppers for the top of a salad and it had no problem doing them. I can also tell you that potatoes are not a problem for the slicing blade. I didn't have any block cheese to try grating the cheese but I am sure it wouldn't be a problem after seeing how good this little machine works. To me, the hardest job would be the grinding of meat, not the slicing or grating of cheese or vegetables, and this machine preformed way above my expectations. I definitely recommend this grinder.

I got this grinder/grater/slicer expecting to use it mostly for grading and slicing but when my meat grinder broke, it got called into heavy duty. I ground 6 pounds of softly frozen deer yesterday with no issues. For is size, this thing performed very well. It chewed through the meat no problem, very impressed. The slicing and shedding functions are where this thing thrives, I only wish the were thicker slice blades, the ones that come with slice pair chip thin.
