Seriously I love looking at this thing on my coffee bar. The matte black and copper accents are so beautiful! I was tired of boring stainless steel everything, so when my old one broke I immediately purchased this one. I love that there are measurement lines inside as well!
The vessel is sturdy, nice looking and comes with extra filter screens to use as backup (or to reduce sludge even more if you like.) Mine’s shiny stainless. It will be a great addition to the camping breakfast table!
Perfect size for 1 person. Easy to use, keeps coffee piping hot, doesn’t drip after pouring and easy clean-up. If you are not careful, and fill to the bottom of the pour spout, the expanding grounds will push coffee up and out of the spout. This can be avoided by not fully seating the lid while steeping. Not a defect, just a technique worth keeping in mind. I like it well enough to buy another one to leave at my kid’s house.
This French press is above and beyond of what I ever expected. It is thick, very adorable, keeps your coffee warm, just an absolutely excellent bye. This is a French press that will definitely last a lifetime. I absolutely love it. I am going to buy more as Christmas presents.
We continued to use this, even when we got home and back to our "real" coffee maker.
